Imagine this: You walk outside to check the mail and instead of finding more bills and advertisements, inside you find a handwritten note from a friend. Wouldn't that be something very special to find?
Here's a challenge for YOU. Think of a person in your life who could use some encouragement this week. Maybe it's a grandparent, a friend, a sibling, a parent, a friend, a pastor- whoever! Why not sit down sometime today (or whenever) and write out a note for him/her. I know I've been blessed many times in my life to find such a treat in my mailbox.
I'm going to take part in my own challenge, but I'm not sure yet who I'll pick...

I agree with Laura- I LOOOVEEE getting mail and I also LOOVEEE sending actual hand written mail to others:)
I think this is something I'll have to do this week!
Good thinking Sarah!!
Well, well, my love--busy encouraging others, I see. How I love my girl! Thanks! Send me Shaunna and Laura's addies, please.
I love this idea! I'm terrible at actually sitting down and writing something by hand, but it is so wonderful to get that card in the mail. I still remember several I've gotten from you!
Sarah, thanks for the reminder! I made a card this afternoon for a friend of mine in Malawi who could use a pick-me-up.
