I guess I'm a pretty impatient person. or at least I'm finding that out as time goes on. I'm highly frustrated b/c I can't seem to find summer maternity shirts WITH SLEEVES. I know the average person looks great in a tank top/sleeveless/or really short sleeve shirt, but I do not. And that seems to be all I'm finding. sigh. For now I'm just wearing over-sized t-shirts which are not the most flattering, and I'm rotating them about every 3 days or so. I looked at a JCPenney catalogue with some cute shirts, but they're about 25 bucks each and then you pay for shipping... ends up being about 30 dollars for a shirt. NOT something that's affordable to us right now. Anyone know of a good, inexpensive place to shop for maternity shirts??

Game ideas, anyone?
Okay, so we've got a 1 year old's birthday party coming up soon, and I'm at a loss for another game. One we've chosen is pin the tail on the bunny (for Max and Ruby). I know what you're thinking. A 1 year old doesn't care/know one way or the other. And you're absolutely right. I've decided that whatever theme you pick for a 1 yr old is not what he/she likes. It's what the parents like. The kids are clueless! Can you think of a great game for the party?? If so, please share!
The banana pudding was a hit- the only dessert that got all eaten up:) Pardon my silly smile...
Romans 12 is our new memory chapter. Wanna join? It's very exciting and profitable. We've completed Psalm 8 and Psalm 103. It's good to be challenged.
Lots of laundry to do tomorrow. I don't know WHAT happens to our home on Sundays. It's as if every bit of order we thought we had goes out the window trying to get out the door in time for church. and if there's food involved, well, I'm embarrased to say...

The time has (almost) come!
I have an appt scheduled to get this face of mine seen. I'm quite anxious to see what the dr can do for me, if anything. I'll go tomorrow @ 8:45am. My friend Tina has so graciously agreed to watch the kiddos for me. And that's no small chore. She's got a super sweet attitude about it- what a blessing to me. SO, maybe tomorrow I can get some help- yippee!
I miss having my mom live so close. Now she lives VERY far away (well, sorta). I need new tires before I can go visit again. not fun. BUT, I do get more accomplished when I'm not running all over town. Supper has already been made:)
What's on the menu?
Chicken spaghetti
Grillin' beans
Green beans or corn
and...
brownies!
I have a friend who's joining me in the ranks of 29 years old tomorrow.. can you guess who?
After dinner, I think we'll head to the park for some walking and playing. Then it's back home to brownies and the Biggest Loser. All the excitement is too much for me:)
