I like Spurgeon's quotes; they are so cool sometimes. (can ya read it?)
Good morning. What a beautiful day the Lord's given us. This morning was so gorgeous!! Mikayla and I walked for an hour (phew!) @ Coggin Park from 7-8. This kind older man said I was doing a good job and gave me a thumb's up sign. Did I mention the fact that I was red-faced and sweaty? Well, I was. We must have been quite a sight to behold.
About the cake. It was made from a cake mix. That's not such a bad thing, is it? For some silly reason (pride?) (cakes from cake mixes are GOOD, right? well, at least easier) I didn't want to share that, but there it is. Open for all the world to see. Well, the blogging world, at least. There, I did it.
It's so nice to have my mommy home!!! How I enjoy spending time with her. She took some BEAUTIFUL pictures from her trip up North. The best part is she and my dad are treating us to Corina's on Friday for watering their plants. Whooo hoo!!! All that hard work is finally going to pay off! They've got the BEST cherry coke. Rats. Oh yeah, they have pretty good food, too:)
No pics of BG today; maybe later:) She's growing so fast. AND, last night was the 2nd night in a row that SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT. Maybe that's why I'm feeling so good:) I've gotten some much needed rest. sigh. smile.

i don't even have a baby yet and i don't get to sleep through the night. sure wish momma would take dean and me to corinas. but we've got plenty of coke, so i'd have to order water. by the way, there's nothing wrong with cake mix. alton brown (food network) said that regular people can't make it better than the box. something about the proccess and ingredients that we don't have access to. so go for the mix. and be proud of it. gotta go. sarah's crying. what's new. bed time.
love you
I'd LOVE for you and Dean to join us @ Cornina's! Do come; my treat:) Not the plane ticket, but the meal!
Good for Alton Brown. Now I don't feel so bad. It's the same ingredients, right? They're just all clumped together so conveniently for you. Now why on earth would I feel bad about that?? Grace, you're great!
Love you tons!
Yeeeha! Baby is sooo smart, giving her Momma and Daddy needed rest. I remember that time and it was indeed a MAJOR blessing to have a full night's rest.
ok. after reading a bit on your friend Christy's blog, i'm feeling a tad lonesome that we don't live closer to everyone.
miss the early dodsons...and the ciscos too...
Yay for baby girl!!! I'm sure you're relishing the much needed sleep!
Don't feel bad about cake mixes...they are a GREAT invention! You can make them even better by using milk instead of water and butter instead of oil...gives it that homemade taste, without the homemade work! :)
Sorry about all you household problems! Tell Jody to call Steven if he wants more help with the hot water heater! :D
See ya soon I hope!
I love you. :)
Laura, we miss you, too! Sure would be nice if you lived closer:)
Rebekah, next time I make a cake, I'll incorporate your good ideas.
Yes, we're STILL having hot water heater problems- it's unreal. We even had a plumber come out yesterday; he stayed for 3 hours, then a guy came and inspected it, and that night, it started leaking again!!! crazy times @ the Dodsons! We may have a faulty HWHeat. I guess we'll soon find out.
Christy, thanks for the love. :)
