Music and Running (schedule)

What's the criteria for music you listen to- to be "appropriate" or "acceptable?" My Joseph and I were discussing this today, and to me, it's an interesting topic. Any thoughts? Opinions? Convictions? Please share.

Oh, I can't believe it's Week 6 already. Grace and Jamie, are you ready??
Here it is.....

Week 6

Monday- 2 miles (uh-oh)
Tuesday- rest
Wednesday- 1.5 miles
Thursday- rest
Friday- 1 mile
Saturday/Sunday- rest one day/ 1.5 miles the other

I hope that I can make the two miles tomorrow without stopping. Last time I couldn't do it- only lasted about 1.5 miles. So, we'll see. I'm a wee bit nervous, but I know I shouldn't be. and the other day I asked myself, why didn't I start this running BEFORE I had my Mikayla; it's not like I didn't have the time:) Oh well, here I am.

I have the privilege of taking some photos of a newborn tomorrow!! How fun:) Maybe I can post a picture or two of the outcome. I'm excited!

I hope to have a week that brings honor and glory to my great God! Good night.

Thanks! Okay... I'm back on. I was a slacker towards the end of last week. We can do it! I'll have to think on the music thing. Love you! Thanks for the running schedule. Go Sarah and Grace!

Well hey good luck on your running and I'm sure you can do the 2-mile and if you don't think you can do it then keep on trying and oh don't be thinking that you can't do cause if you say that then thats gona mess you up. I mean abouve all stay postive. And this summer for me is I'm gona run also to at least everyday as I can well jog anyways so if you looking for a running partner or whatever then here I am. (:).......... So on the music thing I honetly don't think it really matters to what you listen to as long as you don't say or do anything in the lyrics say that or think they're gona do. I mean yea I listen to a lil bit of rap and sum christian rap. Some hard rock with christian hard rock mixed with Christian punk. and worship music and just a lil of country. But alltogether though mainly what I listen to is hard Christian rock though. But like I said just be very careful and if your the kind of person that lisents to something thats not good and saying do this or whatever then I say try and stay away from it even though its sometimes hard but if you wana find something that you like but its bad then look for that type of music thats the same as rock or rap or whatever in the Christian group cause I mean theres some pretty good bands out there that are Christian. I mean thats how I look at it. And dang it that was one of my blog entrires that I was gona talk about but probably will later on though. (:)

garbage in garbage out. that saying works for everything. i have to say i have found 'secular' songs that are oh, i don't know the word. there is nothing objectionable in them. are they glorifying God? Hmm, no, I guess not. Are we not to glorify God in all we do? Yep. Do I? Nope. I'm not sure I know the answer. Is there any thing that is morally neutral? Or is everything we do categorized into the sin-section or the non-sin section? Good question. What are your views? I guess we pretty much want to gratify the flesh. I do. Try not to but do anyway. Thanks for the thinkin.
